Ethan Ryan Schmidt's Birthday!

He's finally here! Ethan was born on Thursday, Janurary 4, 2007 at 7:17 p.m. at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was delivered via c-section since Katie only dialated to 3 cm. Ethan was also "sunny side up", so he would have eventually needed a c-section. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 20 inches long. He is extremelly cute and I have been told he looks alot like the father! Both our families have been here and have been a tremendous help. Katie and Ethan are fine and keep progressing as we move along. Below are some of the numerous pictures to follow. Enjoy! This is Katie just starting her Pitocin drip.

Here he is! Just moments after delivery, Ethan is getting cleaned off and being a little fussy.

Here he is being weighed. I know it reads 7 lbs. 9 oz. but I think he just moved and it went up an ounce.

Here is Ethan when he just arrived back in the room. Right after this he got his first bath and was nice and clean.
