It has almost been a week since Ethan was born and he has brought us so much joy. Each day there is something new that we learn about Ethan and about Katie and I as a couple. Ethan is doing fantastic. Katie is still recovering after batteling a slight infection. Grandma Gillig stayed the night with us on Monday and Tuesday night. She was such a big help that there is no way we can repay her. Katie and I were hurting on Monday after only getting maybe an hour and a half of sleep. Tonight will be different since we don't have a shift rotation. But, we will get the hang of it. Tuesday, we went to Bay Park to see Dr. Credico for Katie. Ethan came along and after we went into the exam room, Dr. Credico stole Ethan and we didn't see him until we left! He was passed around the whole office. I asked the nurse if they did that to all the babies or just the cute ones. She said just the cute ones. We then went to Labor and Delivery in the hospital to drop off cookies for the nurses. The nurses seemed so shocked that we actually came back to thank them for their kindness and helpfulness. They were really wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better hospital. Everyone just loved Ethan. Our last stop was Big Apple Deli in Oregon. This was a place that Katie and I would go after every doctor's visit to get lunch. The ladies there have always been wonderful. I even stopped there after both inductions, so the ladies have always asked if Katie had her baby. Both our parents have been there and bragged about their new grandbaby. Well, we made our appearence and they just went crazy over Ethan. They were shocked that we actually showed up. They didn't think we would be back until he was 1. Below are some more pictures of Ethan at home and his first bath here. Enjoy!

After a brand new outfit. This was his going home outfit. The jacket is actually supposed to be a puppy with little ears on his hood.
Here I am before we left.

Grandma Gillig on one of the nights she spent with us. This is her helping us take off the edge!
Ethan, Saddie and I upstairs in the master bedroom on Monday night. All three of us were watching the Buckeyes get destroyed while Katie and Grandma Gillig were resting downstairs. Ethan still wanted to show his support.

The shirt says it all.
